Chance and I love Kristi's. He is a rescue and is scared of everything. They are very kind, patient, and loving to him and all the dogs I have seen in there. The prices are very reasonable and the staff are all very sweet. Chance always looks and smells amazing when I pick him up. Thank you all for your kindness.
Absolutely fantastic and accommodating! My boys love going here and you can tell that the employees love what they do. Kristi's K-9's is also SUPER clean! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
My experience here today was very upsetting. I suddenly had to make the trip down from DC to SC with my 5 month old pup. I'm staying with someone allergic to dogs and needed her groomed to minimize allergens. I'm very thankful that Kristi was able to fit me in today--I made the appointment online at 11pm last night, woke up at 4am and drove straight there, arriving exactly at 1pm. We had a rough drive, including some car sickness, so maybe I should have just cancelled the appointment, but I figured it should be OK because all she needed was a bath and nails trimmed. They were pretty busy when I arrived and nobody acknowledged me for a few minutes, but I brushed it off. When I came back, a lady who I assume is Kristi glared at me and immediately told me that my dog was "petrified" and multiple times called her "awful, and I see a lot of dogs." I apologized and said my dog's never been formally groomed before, and she seemed so mad/annoyed and told me that I need to "do my research before taking her anywhere, because that's the kind of dog that will get mistreated at a groomer." Did you hit my dog? She's a puppy for Christ's sake, this is my first dog and I've had her for 2 months! They had zero sympathy and customer service. They also pronounced her name completely wrong, despite me telling them what it was. Dogs don't understand different pronunciations may be "close enough" so that's probably partly why she didn't listen well. She doesn't respond to me when I call her by a different name, either. I knew she was going to be at least a little unpleasant and I was so happy they were able to get her in, so I was prepared to tip a $20 (nearly 50%). However, they never asked me if I wanted my change back from the $50 I gave them first, nor did they give me a receipt, so enjoy the change instead!
