We have lived at Mr. Z's campground for over 4 yrs now and you could not ask for better people than Mr. & Mrs. Z. These folks treat everyone like family and go over and above what any other campground owner would do.
We were almost to the park when my transmission went out. I was six miles from the park. I called the park to let them know what had happened. The owners were very nice, I asked if they knew anyone that could tow my fifth wheel in, and that I would pay them. Once again the owners were very nice. I wasn't able to get towed till after 10pm. We called and told them we were on our way, the owner said it would be best if we dry camped in the parking lot where we broke down. No power, no water, no a/c 90° out. We got towed in anyways. The 5 day stay was unpleasant. The owner tried to stay in our business. He acted as if he wished we hadn't came. He gave me a ride to my truck 6 miles away and charged me $30. Looking back I should have stayed in the church parking lot for 5 days. The park is very small, gnats and mosquitos were outrageous. The owner was rude, and a gossiper. Seemed like all 15 residents knew my business by noon the next day. Don't stay! If your not a long stay resident ( 3 months or more) your not treated well.
I would recommend this campground to anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to stop for a night or stay as long as needed.

Because you're in the man's backyard and he's always in everybody's business Riding around his golf cart if you don't mind him always being there not really having any privacy it could be a good place for you but if you like somewhere where you can just sit back and chill , hear you have to hear him constantly riding around the Little circle on his golf cart in your business gripping about every little thing especially if you got a dog. There are other places
Stayed 3 days. Small, quiet, clean Park with friendly neighbors and nice pool. Convenient to shopping, restaurants and Columbia. You can see Mr Z takes pride in his property.
No sign showing where the office is and no clue if take over night campers. Disappointed.
